Creative Access Description

A black and white landscape oriented image of a work of performance art. A Guatemalan man wearing a thin loin cloth and a lacy white veil covering his head stands in profile next to a white gallery wall. In his left hand he holds a painter's palette, behind which his write hand paints a figure of the artist Diego Rivera, naked but for a simple crown and posed as if crawling, on the wall. The loose line work of the image give it a sketch-like almost crude feeling. A spotlight illuminating the performance casts the performers shadow as well as the shadow of a low metal scaffolding that is outside the frame onto the wall.
