Creative Access Description

Colour sheet of twenty unofficial postage stamps printed on a single sheet of white perforated stamp paper in a five by four stamp landscape rectangle centred on the page. The stamps feature full colour illustrations of artworks and performances by artist Anna Banana, many featuring bananas but also costumes and references to tours, festivals, and other happenings. Each stamp features a date, title, and location in a standard black serif font arranged about the illustration. Above the top row of stamps a block of black serif text provides context to the stamp sheet and artist contact information. The perforations dividing the stamps extend to the edges of the page.

Description

Commemorative stamp sheet created and published by Anna Banana in conjunction with her 1990 exhibition at grunt gallery. Features twenty stamps with full colour illustrations of Banana's artworks including many performances.
