Creative Access Description
Colour analogue video of a cabaret performance. A man with long curly hair tied back, wearing glasses, a green T shirt, and green cargo pants enters a dimly lit stage and provides a brief introduction to the performance. The audience applauds. A recording of Nick Cave and the Bad Seed's song, Something's Gotten Hold of My Heart, begins to play. A woman dressed in black suit pants, a red shirt with an open collar, and wearing a wig of long dark curly hair stomps and false sideburns stomps heavily on stage turning over monitors and grabbing a standing microphone. She lip synchs to the song, moving in and out of the stage lights with rockstar moves and dramatic swagger. During the instrumental bridge she lights a cigarette before finishing the song. The audience whoops and applauds.Description
