Creative Access Description

A colour landscape image of the front and back cover of an exhibition catalogue. The back cover on the left side of the image features the piece “After Shirin’s Bath”, composed of technical drawings in black ink on an acetate sheet with abstract smudges and markings around it. There is a black leather string wrapped around the sheet close to the right edge. On the right side of the image is the front cover of the catalogue which includes an image of the work “Hunting Ground No.06”, a mixed-media work consisting of repetitive drawings of a horned animal, similar to a horned goat or gazelle, in blank ink on an acetate sheet. Surrounding the drawings are abstract patterns in red and black permanent marker or paint forming clusters of holes and small circular shapes. A black leather string is wrapped around the sheet down the center of the work. On the top left corner of the front cover the title of the catalogue “TECHNICAL PROBLEM” is printed in a white, thin sans-serif font. On the bottom left corner is the name of the artist “AILEEN BAHMANIPOUR” in a small white, thin sans-serif font.
