Colour digital video in portrait format, taken on a phone, showing a close up of a person's hand holding a red coloured pencil and drawing a Northwest Coast style image of a beaver made up of ovoids and other formline designs on a white piece of paper. The video is a soundless time lapse, so the hand moves with unnatural speed and the camera tilts and zooms in and out on the design several times rapidly. After the basic form of the beaver is complete, the drawer fills in details, ornamentation, and textures. The camera pans back to show the complete drawing as the video ends.Description
