Black and white landscape oriented image of two performers standing together at the top of a grand double staircase. To the left, a white man wearing a baggy white chef's outfit and hat, holding an accordion strapped to his chest looks down at a two sheets of paper on a music stand in front of him. To his left, a woman with short hair wearing a floral print pillbox hat, a necklace with small plastic fruits, and a light coloured capelet, tied at her neck with a bow, stands with her arms at her sides. The performers, lit by a spotlight, look out over the staircase's neoclassical metal railing, to which a large banner is affixed, hanging down past the bottom of the frame. The railing casts a shadow across the large doorway behind the performers, which combines with the marble staircase and molding details to create a dramatic setting.Description
