Creative Access Description

A colour landscape image of a large, 18.5 feet long quilt made of old bed sheet fabric taken from the top of the piece, angled downward towards the floor. The right half of the frame, which is the top part of the quilt, is closer to the camera and slightly blurry. The left half of the frame shows the part of the quilt that is on the floor, in focus. The quilt consists of square patches of fabric with different shades of red, brown and white, arranged in an Irish Chain pattern with the red patches forming the criss cross lines. The quilt has a border made up of brown and white patches with a double triangle pattern in each square. There are brownish patterns and images printed on to the fabric. The edge of the slide film creates a black border around the image.
