Creative Access Description

Black and white landscape oriented image of a Hopi, Apache and Mi'kmaq woman in a moment of stillness during her dance performance. She stands in the centre of the frame, which is cropped to show her from the waist up. She has with both arms raised above her head, her hands and fingers outstretched. She gazes skyward, her knowing expression seeming to evoke ancestors or other celestial beings. She wears a black unitard with full sleeves. The stage around her is dark but for elements of the ceiling emerging from the shadows.
