Creative Access Description
Black and white landscape oriented image of a Hopi, Apache and Mi'kmaq woman dancing on an otherwise empty stage. She stands up straight with her right foot planted on the ground and her left foot raised and extended behind her, toes pointed, at a ninety degree angle with respect to her body. Her right arm is extended out to her side at shoulder level and her left arm is at her side, wrapping her body in the light, mid, and darker tone stripe blanket that is draped across her shoulders and wavering with the momentum of her movement. Beneath the blanket she wears a black unitard with full sleeves. She is turned toward the right side of the frame and her face is partially obscured by a white mask, the right side of which is interrupted by an exaggerated jagged edge revealing portions of her face beneath. Her dark hair is cropped close to her head. The stage is dark around her.~root~>Description
