Creative Access Description
Black and white landscape oriented image of a Hopi, Apache and Mi'kmaq woman dancing on an otherwise empty stage. She stands with her knees bent, leaning forward and facing the left side of the frame. She has close cropped dark hair and wears a featureless white mask over her face. She wears a black unitard with full sleeves extending down to her bare ankles and feet. She holds a blanket with light, mid, and darker toned stripes across her shoulders. Her arms are outstretched at shoulder level on either side of her body and she appears to be in a rotational movement causing the blanket to unfurl behind her like a cape, its form blurred and fringed edge adding to the dynamic effect. Behind her are the edge of the stage and dark backdrop.~root~>Description
