Creative Access Description
Black and white landscape oriented image of a Hopi, Apache and Mi'kmaq woman dancing on an otherwise empty stage. She stands with her knees slightly bent, facing away from the camera and toward the left side of the frame. Her arms are outstretched at shoulder level, her fingers extended as though grasping at the air. The profile of her face is covered by a white mask she is wearing, her hair is dark and cropped close to her head. Draped over and covering most of her body is a woven blanket with dark, mid, and lighter toned stripes running vertically down her body. The darkness of the stage surrounds her.~root~>Description
