Creative Access Description
Colour landscape image of a Nehiyaw Isko woman performing in front of a seated audience. She wears platform moccasins and is wrapped shawl made from hundreds of bepsi (soda) can pull tabs woven together with long nylon streamers in bands of light blue, pink, orange, lavender, and white, which hang in a long fringe from the edge of her shawl down to her ankles. She stands on a lit stage in front of a large projection of her performing in the same costume in front of a body of water at sunset. Her figure in the projection is situated such that it appears to be a shadow of her figure on stage. On either side of her are two standing mirrors that reflect portions of her body creating a fractured image across all four mirrors. The image is taken from the house, showing audience members seated in darkness on either side of a central aisle.~root~>Description
