Creative Access Description
A colour portrait image of an unframed acrylic painting on watercolour paper mounted on metal L-shaped hooks on a white wall in a gallery space. The painting features a single nude figure resting on a pillar of stone within a circular gorge surrounded by a dark and damp cloudy night sky. The canyon that surrounds them is made of rounded, resistant rocks the colour of rusted metal or stone at the bottom of the sea. The scene is somber. The figure is sitting with their legs out in front, bent at the knee and swept off to the right. The bottom of their right foot wraps around and rests behind their right buttock. Their left hand rests off and to the side half supporting their evaporating body. From the waist and mid back up, they melt into the air, dissipating in droplets and lines of energy which float or are sucked away up and to the right.~root~>Description
