Creative Access Description

A colour landscape image of four paintings mounted on a white wall in a gallery space. From left to right, first, there is an unframed oil painting on wooden panel mounted on L-shaped brackets featuring a swirl and sweep of soft candy pink and purple clouds wrapped around a seated figure with one leg raised. Next to it is another unframed work, an oil painting on watercolour paper floating by six L-shaped metal brackets. This painting features a floating figure with a crown of Bantu knots and ebony skin sitting cross-legged against a pink and purple gradient background. To the right of this is an unframed oil painting on a wooden panel featuring three smiling youths standing atop a wooden plinth with a huge standing figure towering behind them holding a colossal boulder on their back. The last piece in this row is an oil painting on wooden panel set in a solid black frame. It features a black youth standing with their arms extended, cradled by a pair of hands against yellow, orange and red fluffy clouds in the background.
