Black and white landscape oriented image of three performers spotlit in the corner of a gallery space. In the centre is Siksiká/Sioux/French woman with shoulder length dark coloured hair, barefoot, and wearing dark coloured pants and a satiny button up shirt with a ruffled collar. reading. She stands with her right foot slightly forward, looking toward the audience at the bottom of the frame. Her right arm is extended out to the side at shoulder level, her palm open and fingers extended. To her right is a slender man with long dark hair seated on a stool against the wall. He wears light coloured pants, a white shirt, and a dark coloured vest, and is playing a vertical woodwind instrument, possibly a Shakuhachi flute. To the Siksiká woman's left stands a Cree woman with shoulder length dark hair holding a circular hand drum at chest height in her left hand and a drum stick in her right hand, extended outward to her right. She wears a light coloured t shirt, and blue jeans with holes in the knees. Various clothes and performance props rest agains the walls behind the performers and the silhouettes of several audience members' heads are at the bottom of the frame.Description
