Creative Access Description
A colour landscape image of grunt gallery’s facade with the double doors wide open, revealing the installation within. The facade and doors are a window wall with rectangular panels of glass set in light grey metal framing. Leading up to the threshold is a cement ramp flanked on either side by green shrubbery. On the right side of the facade, a rectangular sign reading “OPEN” in a standard serif font, sits in one of the windows. Directly above the doorway is a lit red neon sign reading “grunt” in a standard serif font, as well as the gallery’s unit number, 116, in black vinyl lettering. Inside the gallery, the floor, walls and ceiling are covered in light-coloured plywood. The floor slants upward toward the back of the space, where a small rectangular opening, leading to a dark room, is situated on the right side of the back wall. The top of the gallery space is obscured by a plywood overhang.
