Creative Access Description

A colour landscape image of three works mounted in a row on a sandy brown wall. There are three pieces, the two pieces on the left and right side are acrylic-on-wood paintings. The painting on the left contains an eye painted on the top right side with three teardrops coming out the left side of the eye against a split-painted background with brown on the top half and red on the bottom half. The words “VIVANT” at the top and “AYITI” at the bottom are written in red stencils on top of the painting. The painting on the right side varies slightly, there is an eye painted in the centre with three teardrops against the same brown and red split background. The words “AYITI” at the top and “VIVANT” at the bottom are written in red stencils on top of the painting. In between these two paintings is a piece consisting of a wooden cross mounted on a rectangular panel made out of wooden planks with a thin black border. There is a black strip painted on all four edges of the cross. In the centre of the cross is a small black body figure with its right foot missing, placed inside a small wooden frame with a red background.
