Creative Access Description

Black and white landscape oriented image of an Ojibwe man seated on a black gallery floor against a white wall close to the corner of the room. The man's right leg is bent and outstretched in front of him, while his left leg is pulled up toward him, the knee supporting his left elbow. In his hands he holds a necklace or string of beads in front of his chest. He wears moccasins, a pair of black briefs, and part of a coyote pelt on his head, the animal's head covering his face as a mask, with a few strands of his black hair hanging to the side. The right side of his entire body is painted in a dark colour with a sharp vertical line bisecting his chest. To his right and behind him is a rectangular wooden tray containing an indiscernible object and sitting in front of four beer cans and a beer bottle, some standing, others knocked askew.
