Age of Iron, photo print 1
Marie Clements
September 11, 1992
Creative Access Description
Black and white portrait oriented image of a Métis woman with her arms at her sides, standing at the edge of a spotlight partially illuminating her face and upper body. She has dark shoulder length hair and wears a white hospital gown. She gazes upward with a strong, defiant expression on her face, dramatically enhanced by the shadows she seems to emerge from. Behind her are several cubic wooden crates used as stage props. The corner of the stage behind her is outside of the spotlight, showing some detail of a collage-like artwork on the wall to her left. The photograph is printed centred on a white mat framing the image on all sides.~root~>Description
