Creative Access Description
Colour landscape image showing three of Mike MacDonald's works installed at grunt gallery. The works pictured are the small photo collage versions of works and depict details of carved totem poles photographed at various village sites in Gitxsan Territory, as well as a sawmill's beehive burner shot at night. Each collage is made of eight to nine individual images. The left and centre collage are in portrait orientation, while the rightmost collage is landscape orientation. All the works are hung at approximately eye level on the white gallery wall. On the wall between the left and centre collage, a white painted water pipe runs from the top to the bottom of the frame. Beneath the collages there is a white painted radiator with a shelf above it on which lies an open gallery guestbook, a stack of exhibition handouts, and various other papers and pamphlets.~root~>Description
