Creative Access Description
Colour landscape image showing a photo college made up of eight printed photos in both portrait and landscape orientation, arranged in three columns, mounted on a white wall. The images show multiple angles of a large beehive burner at an industrial sawmill site site, shot at night. The beehive burner is cone-shaped with a dome-like structure at the top of the cone, and was used to incinerate sawdust and other milling byproducts. At the top of the burner an intense glowing jet of flame and smoke projects upward into the sky giving it the appearance of a volcano. Streaks of orange fiery light emanate from the sides of the burner and some of the images show the lights and silhouettes of other mill machinery in the background. Text reading 'South Town '85 M MacDonald' is handwritten in the bottom right corner of the piece. ~root~>Description
