A colour landscape image image of a square metal-framed photograph on a white wall in a gallery space. The photograph features a cool white panel with Farsi script printed diagonally in black. The warmly lit eyes of the artist are pictured behind the panel through circular cutouts with heaped dressmaking pins surrounding the eyes in a wreath that reads, cartoon-like, as hair and beard, or the prickly outline of a 'happy face'. Underneath the eyes, where a mouth should be, are English words “ON WOUNDS” rendered on top of the photograph, in dripping red cursive.Description
