Arielle Twist is a Nehiyaw, Two-Spirit, trans woman originally from George Gordon First Nation, Saskatchewan. Her work has appeared in Them, Canadian Art, The Fiddlehead, and PRISM international and her poetry, multimedia pieces, and performances have been exhibited in art galleries across the country. In 2019, Twist was nominated for a Pushcart Prize and shortlisted for a National Magazine Award. Disintegrate/Dissociate is her first collection of poetry.
