Lee Maracle was a Stó:lō writer, cultural critic, and activist. She published many novels, poems, an autobiography, and several books of creative nonfiction, which reflect on many of the complex and often controversial topics discussed in the talks she delivered nationally and internationally. Throughout her career, she has been honoured with several awards and has been actively involved with numerous universities across Canada.The People and the Text, 2020
