Biography

Simon is the co-director/writer/producer (with Phil Guidry and David Whelan) of the horror feature Savageland which is distributed internationally by Terror Films. Savageland originally screened at 14 film festivals, including the Comic-Con Film Festival, New Orleans Film Festival, and Morbid Mexico Film Festival, winning eight "Best Of" awards. He teaches on the UCLA Professional Program in Screenwriting, and also at Hollins University, Virginia. He also produces (with Chris Kyle) the screenwriting interview podcast UCLA Story Break. He was a senior story analyst at Amazon Studios. He is repped by Management 360. In a prior life in the UK, Simon was an arts curator, producing socio-political, gender and race-based artworks by artists including Marina Abramovic, Isaac Julien, Mona Hatoum, and Alan Moore (creator of Watchmen).
