David Sylvestre graduated from the Alberta College of Art and Design in 1983, and attended the Banff Centre in 1984, before moving to Toronto in that same year. In 1990, he joined the founding committee of The Red Head Gallery and had three solo shows, Hand Signals in 1991, The Pleasurist in 1993, and Teenage Wasteland Gazette in 1994. In 1995, he co-founded the From a Pit collective. He now works in new media as the Creative Director of Interactive at We Are Tonic in Toronto.The Red Head Gallery, 2013
