Biography

Tim Borsos led an eclectic, interesting, unconventional life. He was born in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia in 1954 and immigrated with his family to Rossland, British Columbia in 1958. Growing up, he lived in the Kootenays, the Okanagan, the Fraser Valley, and, after finishing high school in Maple Ridge, eventually moved back to the Kootenays where he attended the Kootenay School of the Arts. Borsos was trained in graphic design, had a passion and skill for photography, and was also a potter. He loved works, books, flying, long distance road trips with his camera, philosophizing, birds, cats, and romantic notions. He died on July 3, 2015.
