Kathryn Walter founded FELT in 2000, and has since directed the studio in creating product lines, gallery exhibitions, and feature wall commissions across North America. As artist, designer, director and maker, her work ranges from art objects to large-scale installations, often collaborating with architects, designers and clients; responding to a range of ideas, sites and budgets; and hiring assistants on a project basis. In 2019, Walter was a recipient of the Allied Arts Medal awarded by the Royal Architecture Institute of Canada (RAIC) for creative collaboration.FELT, 2024~root~>
