Joseph Kohnke was born in Monterey, California in 1973 and works and lives in Pasadena, California. He received his BFA with an emphasis in sculpture from San Jose State University in California and his MFA with an emphasis in art and technology from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago in Illinois. His work has been shown in the USA, Canada, Korea, Japan, and in China. In 2007, Joseph Kohnke received the Illinois Arts Council Fellowship Award.Stride Gallery, 2008
