Ray Carter, formally know as Mandad, was born in Cheshire, England. Carter has exhibited in galleries and museums, and his work can be found in private collections in New York, Vancouver, Miami, Tokyo, Hong Kong, London, and Prague. In recent years, he has been focused on photo-based esoterica where he continues to explore his unique sense of banality and humour.
