Biography

Tim Runkle is a Halfmoon Bay artist and musician. Runkle studied at UBC in 1978 under legendary artists Roy Kiyooka and Gathie Falk. His family settled on the Coast in 1994 to "raise our kids in paradise." His art is informed by a love of pop art, pop culture, music, movies, cartoons, books, comedy, graffiti, and street art, and it has hung at UBC, Carnegie Centre, Robson Media Centre and grunt gallery.
