Biography

Meredith Feldmár was born in South Porcupine, Ontario, Canada. She came to Vancouver in 1969 and attended the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design from 1977 to 1981, graduating with honours in drawing and painting. Afterwards, she set up a studio with friends at 901 Main Street. Feldmár has participated in group shows at Helen Pitt Gallery, Robson Media Centre, Women in Focus Gallery, Agrodome, Yaletown Warehouse, Sunshine Coast Art Centre, Beatty Street Warehouse, Caravan Theatre, Richmond Art Gallery, Proprioception Books,Octavia Gallery, Queen Elizabeth Theatre Mezzanine Gallery, Emily Carr University of Art and Design, Cortes Schoolhouse Gallery Portrait Shows, and has had drawings and paintings published in magazines and zines.
