Carol Anne Shumas passed away peacefully on December 23, 2021. Born, raised, and lived in West Vancouver. A woman of many gifts, Carol was a prolific artist and constantly creating right up until her final days. She had many exhibits of her paintings in Vancouver, Toronto, Quebec, and New York. Through her paintings and tapestries she was a storyteller, costume, and set designer and wanted the viewer to feel like they were watching a play or musical. Every one of her paintings is a celebration of life. She also had a beautiful voice and was a great cook, serving everything with humor and a glass half full.Dignity Memorial, 2021
