Biography

Clodagh O'Connell earned her Juris Doctor in Law from the University of Victoria in 2011 and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2013. She represents clients on family law matters in Provincial and BC Supreme Court and at mediations and negotiations. Clodagh has also worked for Employment Standards Branch, Province of British Columbia, investigating, mediating, and adjudicating employment law disputes. Clodagh provides free, confidential  legal advice to sexual assault survivors through the Stand Informed Program (standinformed@clasbc.net). She also assists parties who do  not have legal representation through the duty counsel and family advice clinic programs at Port Alberni Courthouse. Before becoming a lawyer Clodagh was an arts and entertainment journalist and screenwriter in Canada and the UK.
