Biography

Miko Revereza was born in Manila, and grew up in the US, where he attended Bard College, before moving to Mexico. He’s the director of the short films Disintegration 93–96 and Distancing, as well as the features No Data Plan and The Still Side, which he directed alongside Carolina Fusilier. Nowhere Near, 2023, is the culmination of several years of shooting, editing, relocation, and contemplation — Revereza traces his disillusionment and likely permanent departure from the United States, eventually making his way to Oaxaca by way of Manila.
