Exposure Gallery, founded in 1989, was the place to go for photography lovers, a home and resource for the Vancouver Association of Photographic Arts, for whom it served as the operating arm. The Association and Gallery provided educational tools and impetus for the recognition of photographic art as a fine art form, expanding public awareness of photographic art and giving photographers a place to meet and exchange information. Exposure Gallery staged bi-monthly exhibitions and regular seminars, artist talks, and other educational events. Exposure Gallery was located at 851 Beatty Street and 754 E.
