Biography

Julia Dahee Hong (b.1992) is a Canadian artist, she lives and works in Antwerp, BE, where she is an MFA candidate at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp. Hong is a graduate of Emily Carr University of Art and Design, Vancouver, CA. Recent exhibitions include A Grand Tour, Koninklijke Academie voor Schone Kunsten, Antwerp, NL, 2018, Blood, Love, Trouble, Burrard Arts Foundation, Vancouver, CA, 2017, ILAF (i løpet av festivalen), Oslo, NO, 2016, Horizontal, Linear or Melodic, Avenue, Vancouver, CA, 2016, Some Vancouver Korean Churches, Project Space, Vancouver, CA, 2015. Hong was also a writer in residence at Artspeak, Vancouver, CA, from 2016 to 2017.
