Biography

Wolframio Sinué is a multidisciplinary artist and screen actor from Ecuador. His acting career includes credits in films as The Dancer Upstairs directed by John Malkovich, Proof of Life by Taylor Hackford, and more. He is also known for his different roles on TV productions such as Get Out Alive on Discovery Channel, Locked Up Abroad on National Geographic, and more. He also played the role of Cacique Galeras in the Netflix series The Queen and Conqueror. In 2021, Wolframio won the Best Actor Award of the X Kunturñawi Film Festival in Ecuador for his main role as Baldomero in the film Sansón directed by Pável Quevedo Ullauri, who invited Wolframio to play de main role of his new featured short film Willkawiwa (The Sacred Fire of the Dead)—which one has been nominated for several film festivals around the world, winning the price as The Best Short Film of the Fantastic Film Festival of Gijón in Spain. In 2023, Wolframio played the main role as Melalo in the film Chuzalongo, directed by Diego Ortuño. Wolframio Sinué's professional experience is large, about more than 40 years between stage, film, and tv sets. His ongoing studies include extensive training from esteemed instructors from around the world in acting, performance, theatre, film, music, dance, mime, martial arts, and vocal techniques.
