Pietro Sammarco is a sound producer with an unusual variety of skills that give depth to the works of filmmakers, podcasters, musical groups, comedy groups, and visual artists. His production process is set in motion by listening with curiosity and improvising with found materials and field recordings. Sammarco also designs workshops on listening and audio production and has mentored for a wide range of organizations. His mentors in sound have included soundscape composers Barry Truax and Hildegard Westerkamp, film composer Dennis Burke, and producer Colin Stewart.Pietro Sammarco, 2024
