Biography

Lesley-Anne Cao lives and works in Quezon City, Metro Manila. She studied at the University of the Philippines College of Fine Arts. Her recent solo exhibitions include A song plays from another room, MO_Space Gallery, Metro Manila (2021) and The hand, the secretary, a landscape, Cultural Center of the Philippines, Manila (2018). Her recent group exhibitions include a knowing intimacy or a life at the U.P. Vargas Museum, Quezon City and Of sampaguita, ilang-ilang at c3 Contemporary Art Space, Melbourne, Australia (both 2019). She worked as an archivist for Green Papaya Art Projects in Manila and Asia Art Archive in Hong Kong from 2017 to 2022.
