Yellow Peril: Reconsidered was a national touring exhibition, curated by Paul Wong. Through historical documentation and critical analysis, the six essays in Yellow Peril: Reconsidered—by Paul Wong, Monika Kin Gagnon, Richard Fung, Larissa Lai, Jean Lum, Anthony Chan, and Midi Onodera—explore the issues related to race and representation which inform photo, film, and video works by twenty-five Asian Canadian artists—Taki Bluesinger, Melanie Boyle, Anthony Chan, Benjamin Chou, Richad Fung, Jay Hirabayashi, Roy Kiyooka, Nobuo Kubota, Laiwan, Daisy Lee, Helen Lee, Brenda Joy Lem, Mary-Ann Lui, Jay Samwald, Chi Chung Mak, Nhan Nguyen, Marlin Oliveros, Midi Onodera, Chick Rice, Ruby Truly, Henry Tsang, Tamio Wakayama, Jim Wong-Chu, Jin-me Yoon, and Sharyn Yuen—and two non-profit organizations—L'Amitie Chinoise de Montreal and Le Videographe.
