Biography

Laura Wee Lay Laq studied ceramics along with painting and printmaking at Douglas College and at the Vancouver School of Art. Teaching has been a significant aspect of Wee Láy Láq’s career, and she has taught at both the Emily Carr University of Art and Design and Coquitlam College. She has also produced a line of Northwest Coast dinnerware called Kwelas. Her work has been featured in exhibitions at grunt gallery, the Vancouver, and the Surrey Art Gallery.
